... we see that the life of Christ is different from the biographies of all great men. Their story comes to an end at the grave. But the most important part of Christ’s story follows His death! For He alone of all men who have ever lived on earth, came to grips with man’s greatest enemy. He went down into death’s chambers and defeated it. Rising triumphantly over death, hell, and the grave, He says, “I am He ... that was dead; and, behold, I am alive ... and have the keys of hell and of death” (Rev. 1:18).
