David Sitton was barely a man when he left surfing and partying to live in Papua New Guinea, a faraway, perilous land. Leaving Texas with a Bible, a suitcase (and a surfboard), he took the gospel into cannibalistic areas to people who had never heard the name of Jesus. For thirty-four years God has used him to help train missionaries, spread the gospel and establish dozens of churches in remote regions. Through this book, experience the amazing things God did as David recklessly abandoned his will to the will of God.

Review
All I have read and heard and watched inclines me to rejoice over the vision and theology and mission of David Sitton. I thank God for his Christ-exalting, God-centered, Bible-based courage to focus his life and ministry on the unreached tribal peoples. Like no one else I know, David Sitton puts his body where his mouth is. The risks are high; the reward is overwhelming. I commend To Every Tribe Ministries for your support and involvement. May the Lord of glory spread his fame through all who partner with this ministry to make a name for Jesus among the nations. --Dr. John Piper Pastor for Preaching and Vision Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis, MN
I first heard of David Sitton when he spoke at John Piper s pastor s conference in 2006. I thought, Wow, this guy is intense, which is saying something when you re at Piper s conference. I greatly respect David for his courage, his commitment to go where Christ has not been named, and his insistence on sound theology as the basis of strong missions. I look forward to reading his story of going, growing, and learning as a missionary. From what I ve already read and from what I know about David, it will be quite a story. --Kevin DeYoung Author, Pastor University Reformed Church East Lansing, Michigan
This is the kind of book I want to read. It put me in touch with Reality. I was unnerved. I was convicted. And it fueled my soul-ache for God so that when I finished I couldn t help praying, Oh, Jesus, this is how I want to know you. All I want my life to say is that you are real and you are worth it. Don t let me waste it! There are so few of these kinds of books. Read it. You will not regret it, though you may get more than you bargained for. --Jon Bloom President, Desiring God Ministries
