Dr. E. P. Ellyson is favoring his readers with a new book on "Bible Holiness." While written primarily for the Leadership Training Course, the book is equally well adapted to the general reader. Its truths are vital. It deals with the fundamental positions which have ever characterized the holiness movement. If the church is to continue her mission of "spreading holiness over the lands," she must give much attention to the instruction of her youth. Each succeeding generation must have its own restatement of the fundamental truths upon which the movement depends for its unity and aggressiveness. In reading this book we have been impressed with the logical order in which the author has restated these great truths. He states his position briefly and with convincing emphasis. He does not argue. The simplicity and clarity of the statement is its own argument. There is a note of authority which carries conviction not only to the mind but to the heart of the reader. This gives the book exceptional value as a medium for the dissemination of the doctrine of holiness as commonly held by Wesleyans.
