"Hearing God" shares this Christian Author's experiences of talking with and listening to God and obeying what he believes God tells him to do. Over the years he has learned how to test the small inner voice whether it is from God, from another source, or simply the expression of his own wishful thinking. This experience is grounded in Biblical teaching, and within a context of how men and women from pages of the Old and New Testaments and from the history of the Church have responded to God speaking to them.
"Hearing God" is useful both to instruct Christians young in the faith, and to encourage those who have been for many years on the Christian way. With a backdrop of the victorious obedience of many servants of God, it chronicles the personal experiences of this ordinary everyday Christian who for decades has been determined to obey God's voice whether it comes as a small inner voice or from any other means by which our Heavenly Father chooses to speak to His children.
