The Holy Spirit is not a figment of imagination or some type of invention but a real Person. The Holy Spirit is a divine individual and the third Person of the Blessed Trinity. He is the Spirit of God, the Comforter, the Advocate, and the Spirit of Truth and of divine Love. He proceeds from the Father and the Son. Which means, He is equivalent to the Father and the Son, on one level and interlinked as one because of the singleness of nature.
Many do not request the assistance of the Holy Spirit because they do not understand His position and role. As a result, when problems come their way, they are running around looking for their pastor, their bishop, their prophet when a minute with the Holy Spirit would have directed their steps to prosper.
