Last year, I wrote a 30-day devotional, and dedicated it to my friend, Julie. Her reaction made me laugh out loud...

That simple comment inspired the book you hold in your hands.

I want to share my journey to the dream God placed in my heart because it has taken me almost twenty years to get here. I have tried and failed, given up, and begun again, more times than I can count.

I am hoping that by sharing my experience, I can encourage you to not give up on your dreams, especially when they take longer than you expected.

I believe the greatest challenges we face in reaching our dreams are overcoming our fears and learning to trust God's plan for our lives. I hope that as I share the disappointment and setbacks I've faced, you will learn that your own fears or discouragement are not a reason to quit, but to turn to God, pour out your heart, and learn to trust in His guidance.
