Description:

This book begins with the providing nature of a sovereign God. Is God sovereign in all the intimacies of His creation or is His sphere of influence limited by external agencies?
The second chapter focuses on the sovereignty of God in His decrees. Will everything He ordains come to fruition?
The book then answers these questions: “If God has ordained all things that come to pass, then why should I bother to pray?” And, “Why is prayer so important?”
The center section of this book addresses the doctrines of grace relative to the salvation of men. Does salvation begin with the free will of man or with the sovereignty of God? What is the spiritual condition of man? Does he have the ability to recover from the effects of sin? What is election? Is there a difference between election and predestination? What about the argument, “Election isn’t fair!”? Did the blood of Jesus atone universally to all men without exception or did He die for a particular people? What is the nature of regeneration? Is there a difference between being born again and being saved? Is the Christian eternally secure or must he persevere to the end? How does he do so? Is the carnal Christian doctrine scriptural?
This book responds to all these questions in a practical biblical manner that stimulates the mind.
The final two chapters speak to the loving purposes of a sovereign God in a Christian’s life and the Christian’s subjection under the hand of that sovereign God.
Several personal anecdotes illustrating God’s sovereignty are included.
A linked Scripture Index is also included.
